On July 07, 2011 Cayenne lost her battle to post operative complications.
She leaves a big hole in my heart and our home. I cannot express how much I miss her.

Photo: Dave McCurley Cayenne is our bundle of energy - always active and playful. This really shows in the field where she is a dedicated and fast courser. During her first season out she won multiple Best in Field and finished her AKC as well as her ASFA Championship in no time. She was ranked #7 in the country after only six AKC trials in 2005. Winning Third Place at the BCOA Nationals in Waterford, Connecticut in 2007 - the only trial she ran - still ranked her in the top twenty at the end of August 2007.
Due to an injury and following major surgery Cayenne had to pause for a while and will be back in the show ring and on the field - hopefully in the Spring of 2008.

Cayenne came back to the show ring at the beginning of December 2007 and made us proud.
She finished her requirements to become a Dual Champion on April 27, 2008 with a 3 point major by taking Winners Bitch, Best of Winners, Best of Opposite Sex, Best Bred by Exhibitor and a Group 3 in Best Bred by Exhibitor. Cayenne was solely Breeder/Owner handled.
At the BCOA Nationals in 2011 she showed her versatility by competing in obedience. She received her first qualifying score, took first place and an Award of Merit from the Novice A class (photo at top of the page).
You can look up her winning records on infodog.
